Watch & Learn about All Your Favorite Animals (Virtually)

One of the worst parts about staying at home, for me, has been losing my ability to enjoy nature. Luckily, a group of ABC interns made the two videos below so I can watch animals in either the wilderness of the zoo and learn more about them!

Jessica and Busola created this video to introduce children to a website for viewing animals in the wild. Jessica and Busola demonstrate how to observe the animals in the Gorilla Forest Corridor and include interesting facts about the animals that are seen in the video.

In this video, Hannah, Amanda, Jackie, and Sabrina travel all the way to the San Diego Zoo. Come along for the ride and visit animals like giraffes, koalas, tigers, and even the California condor. The San Diego Zoo virtual tour for kids includes live video feed of animals, play games, and browse fun facts - it’s the perfect way to learn more about our favorite animals!

Virtual Tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art

ABC interns Samantha and Gurpreet lead a virtual tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Arts. This virtual tour is best suited for middle to high school students.

Almost all of New York City’s museums are offering a virtual tour or an online exhibit at the moment. Participating museums include: the American Museum of Natural History, Children’s Museum of the Arts, the Cloister Museum and Gardens, the Frick Collection, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, New York Botanical Garden, and the New York Landmarks Conservancy. So take this chance to learn about something you’ve always wanted to know!
