Maxwel Stein reads out loud Where the Wild Things Are

Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak

This 1963 children’s story is one of the most classic and beloved pieces of children’s literature, and it has been adopted into an opera, a movie, and an animation. It is about a boy, Max, who is sent home without supper for dressing up as a wolf and creating a mess in his house. He accidentally stumbles into a mysterious jungle where there are frightening beasts, known as the Wild Things. Will Max be okay? What about the Wild Things? Listen to ABC volunteer Maxwel Stein read out the story to find out!

We recommend this story for children ages 4-8.
