Children's Mobile Crisis Team
ABC offers mental health services to vulnerable children wherever they need us, be it in school, in their homes, or even on the street. Our Children’s Mobile Crisis Team (CMCT), which strives to keep children out of emergency rooms and costly, restrictive institutions, is the only program providing rapid crisis intervention for children anywhere in Manhattan. The team is available around-the-clock and meets with children to stabilize their crises wherever they are. With your gift, we will be able to make a life-saving trip across the city and respond immediately to the needs of a child expressing suicidal ideation, committing self-harm, or exhibiting aggressive behavior.

The gift options that are shown in our shop reflect the various ABC programs designed to help vulnerable children and families. Each item is representative of our commitment to serving our children — when you donate to one item, please be advised that your gift may go towards another service if there is a pressing need. For example, if you purchase a child a book, but we find that our children are going hungry in their homes, your donation may go towards food items.
