Our children love to read! For example, our Graham School students recently completed a unit around the book Planting a Rainbow, a charming tale about a family that ‘plants a rainbow’ by growing colorful flowers. Besides being able to identify many types of flowers, our children now have the vocabulary they need to talk about different colors. Fun, captivating books enhance our children’s education and help develop their imagination, linguistic skills, and critical thinking abilities. Each gift will provide several books to kids in our early childhood programs.

The gift options that are shown in our shop reflect the various ABC programs designed to help vulnerable children and families. Each item is representative of our commitment to serving our children — when you donate to one item, please be advised that your gift may go towards another service if there is a pressing need. For example, if you purchase a child a book, but we find that our children are going hungry in their homes, your donation may go towards food items.
