The purpose of The Association to Benefit Children is to make the difference in the safety of a child's life. Our fundamental belief is that every child deserves a safe and loving home. Our promise is to provide protection from physical harm, hunger and the effects of living in the environment of drug addiction. ABC is a response to the changing face of poverty — and was founded on behalf of poor children, who have no voice. Its programs are designed to give children a foothold in the mainstream of life.

ABC's role as an advocate for positive change continues the healing process. The goal of ABC is to do more than heal, it strives to cure. To defeat the cycles of abuse, neglect, sickness and homelessness ABC creates model programs that are nationally replicable and designed to permanently and cost effectively end the destructive impact of poverty on children. These innovative programs are compassionate, comprehensive, sustainable and integrated. ABC has brought relief, tenderness, joy and hope to many thousands of disadvantaged children and their families through these programs, and with your help, we can do so much more.
