This sweet event will help raise funds to create a self-sustainable
greenhouse
on the rooftop of ABC’s Echo Park Center in East Harlem. (Download

unique classroom/ laboratory will allow children to grown some of their
own food and learn
the life-long lessons of good nutrition. Growing food will also
show them how to have a responsible relationship with the planet.
This curriculum will demonstrate that even the most vulnerable child can
be a leader and take small steps toward ensuring a healthy future for
children everywhere.
